Condo Building Soffit and Siding Work in Calgary

Damaged soffit and siding on a multi-storey Calgary condo building, with water able to get in behind the siding. Working with the property manager, we brought in a manlift, sealed the opening and restored the soffit at height.

The project

The problem. Damaged soffit and siding on a multi-storey condo building, with water able to get in behind the siding.

Reaching it. We brought in a manlift so the crew could work safely at height.

The work. A two-person crew restored the soffit and sealed the damaged siding with poly and adhesive, so no more water could get in while the permanent siding work was planned.

Working with the building. On a multi-unit building we keep the property manager in the loop: photos from the lift, what we found and what comes next.

Stop the water first

On a multi-storey building, a small hole in the siding can let water into several units. Sealing it quickly protects the units below while the permanent work is planned.
