The project
The problem. This low-slope roof had been patched in several places. Shingles are not made for very low pitches, where water moves slowly and wind can lift the tabs.
The fix. We removed the old shingles, replaced the old plywood with new 1/2 inch OSB, and installed a full three-ply Malarkey Omniseal low-slope roofing system in Charcoal Grey.
The edges. New cap, rake and drip edge flashings finish the roof, and we added 31 feet of new eavestrough tied into the existing downspouts.
