Re-siding a multi-unit building
On condo and commercial buildings, siding is a big reserve-fund line, and the work affects every resident or tenant. We plan access, protect balconies and landscaping, and work one elevation or building at a time.
We install fibre cement, vinyl and steel siding on multi-family and commercial properties, and replace soffit and fascia at the same time.

Re-siding while the roof is also due saves a second set-up of lifts and scaffold, and lets us tuck each roof-to-wall flashing behind the new cladding, which stops ice dams from leaking at those joints. Roofs can be architectural, designer or Class 4 shingles, standing-seam steel, cedar shake or Euroshield rubber.
With Alberta’s freeze-thaw cycles, asphalt shingles usually need replacing at around 15 years. A condition report helps the board budget both.
