New exterior, two-storey home
Why do it all at once?
Roofs, siding and eavestroughs meet at the same edges. When they are replaced years apart, each trade works around the last one’s flashing. When they are done together, we lap every layer the right way, from the ridge down to the foundation.
You also deal with one contractor, one site set-up and one clean-up.
- Layers lapped top to bottom
- Colours planned together
- One site set-up
- One point of contact
New roof on a two-storey home
Roof to foundation, planned together
Pick your roof: architectural, designer or Class 4 shingles, standing-seam steel, cedar shake or Euroshield rubber. Pick your walls: James Hardie fibre cement, vinyl or steel siding. Then we add new soffit, fascia and eavestroughs to match. Roof-to-wall joints are where ice dams cause leaks, so we flash them while both are open.
With Alberta’s freeze-thaw cycles, asphalt shingles usually need replacing at around 15 years, and cedar shake can last a bit longer.
- Roof, walls and roof edge
- Matching trim and colours
- Window and door flashing
- Photos at every stage

Is it better to do everything at once?
You save on set-up, disposal and a second round of disruption, and the joints are done right the first time.
How long does a full exterior take?
It depends on the house, but most take one to three weeks.
Can you help with colours?
Yes. We bring samples and can show you combinations that suit your house.
Can I split it over two years?
Yes. We can plan it so the second phase ties in cleanly.
