The inspection
The question. After a storm, the homeowner wanted to make sure everything was okay. They already had one estimate but wanted an experienced second look before going ahead.
What we found. Our inspection found more than the first estimate covered: damage to the shingles and valleys, the chimney, siding on the north and west sides, the eavestroughs and downspouts, the fascia and aluminum trim, and a window.
Our answer. The roof and the damaged exterior needed replacing, and the scope needed to include everything we found, not just the obvious parts.
What we did. We updated the scope with the missing items and replaced the roof with Malarkey shingles in Antique Brown, along with the damaged exterior.
The report. Every impact was circled and photographed, slope by slope, so the homeowner could see exactly what had been missed.
